Real-Time Web: The speed of Internet Marketing was growing rapidly this past year and now there is no turning back. Twitter is about real-time communication, Facebook offers real-time updates. This Internet Marketing trend is becoming so strong, that even Google started incorporating real-time listings in its SERPS.
• Social: Social marketing has also received lot of attention. Facebook boasts over 300 million users, and roughly half of these logs in every day. Twitter attracts more than 22 million unique visitors every month. Expectation is maturing of the market in 2010, where social marketing becomes a less of a tactic or novelty and instead becomes more of authentic process for business to engage with the customers.
• Video Blogs: Day by day there are growing numbers of Internet audience who view online videos. Just like the text-based blogs took off in popularity several years ago, same way expect a rise in video blogs and embedded videos in text-based blogs in 2010.
• US Hispanic Market: Hispanics are the growing segment of the population in U.S. And as they represent about 25% of new births, expect them to have an impact on your future business. Expect savvy businesses in 2010 to put up this fast growing market with the localized websites and localized online marketing.
• Marketing Integration: In 2010, the most successful small businesses are going to be those that integrate their marketing efforts. Business buyers and consumers simply want to buy something. They do not differentiate between online and offline like the marketers generally do.
